I’m an international student, and I read about this school a lot these days, but honestly, I can’t find much information, especially personal perspectives about this school. This seems a nice school, with high diversity, low tuition and fees - around 12-13,000 a year but still American styled education (LAC I believe). However, it locates at a kind of middle of nowhere in Eastern Europe. Maybe not, but I don’t know.
Because as I read, March 1st is the deadline for high scholarships in this school, I am really confused if I should submit the Common App for the American University in Bulgaria or not. Can anyone give me advice? Or if some students here can comment or PM me, I’ll be really appreciated.
Hi, SerenaNg! I’m currently working for the Admissions Office in the American University in Bulgaria, and I’m an AUBG alumna (Class of 2010). I work extensively with international US students, and would be happy to share my insight about the university as a graduate, and also answer your questions about our programs, campus, location, students, faculty, etc. as a counselor. PM me if you are interested in attending AUBG starting this fall, and want to make it by the regular admission deadline, which is June 1st. Have a great day! - Venera Fileva
Also, I forgot to mention that most international students apply via CommonApp and you are more than welcome to submit yours as early as you can. There is exactly 1 week until our early admission deadline. Best of luck, and let me know if I can be of help.
