I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if you would graduate with just a degree in either electrical engineering or computer engineering, or would it be a combined degree where you have to take classes in both electrical and computer engineering, and if this is the case, would that make it any different than taking just an electrical engineering major at any other school.

Under the department’s FAQs here:

<<< Is the BSECE degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering?

The degree is a Bachelor of Science in Electrical AND Computer Engineering (BSECE). The curriculum is structured so that core courses in both electrical engineering and computer engineering are covered. A variety of electives support both aspects of the discipline. Thus, BSECE curriculum is designed to give graduates a solid background in electrical and computer engineering. Given the synergy between electrical engineering and computer engineering, we believe that this is the best approach and will prepare students for a broader employment market and broader areas of study in graduate school. >>>

Not sure about the requirements for other schools; however, at LC ECE majors are required to take three courses within the Computer Science department: Principals of Computer Science I & II, and Software Engineering. See this link for a typical four year schedule in that major: [Electrical and Computer Engineering](http://ww2.lafayette.edu/~ee/current_student_schedule.php)
