About the International Admission

I‘m a Chinese high school student and I want to apply to Sarah Lawrence this fall. I really like this college, so I want to get more information about SLC's admission.

1, In China, high school students are never required to write analytical papers. I am wondering what to write. Can anyone give me some advice on how to write a good analytical paper. I'm interested in writing about women's rights in a famous Chinese modern play called Thunderstorm. Will that be a good topic? Should I choose a topic from American culture in order to let the admission officer understand the paper better?
How long should that analytical be? At least I have to write how many words?

2, Although It is written on SLC's official website that all international students are welcomed, I still want to ask current students that do you welcome Chinese students and want to understand Chinese culture?

I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me. Sarah Lawrence has been my dream school for many years since I knew it. I can't imagine my 4-year memorable college life won't be spent there. Thank you very much!
