About the policy of rescinding offer at UIUC

Hey guys,
I accepted UIUC's offer for this Fall as a transfer student. I will be majoring in Chemistry.
I am worried about a statement in the admission notification letter: If there is a "significant downward trend in grades is noticed, your offer of admission may also be rescinded." How do they DEFINE a "signifcant downward trend in grade"?
Although the final grade is not yet ready, I can tell that for this semester I will not maintain a 4.0GPA, the worst situation is that 4 out of 15 credits will be B, and my GPA for this semester will be 3.73, the overall GPA will be downward to 3.93. This semester is full of hardest courses and all kinds of applications, so I do have a reason for the downward trend in grade. I even put more time than ever for studying!

Again, what I mentioned is the WORST situation, but just in case, if this comes true, will UIUC rescind the offer? I cannot wait for their final decision. I m in Georgia, I ve prepared for moving to Illinois. If UIUC rescinds the offer, I have to completely re-schedule everything for the next three month

Thank you guys!

You have absolutely nothing to worry about.
Multiple F’s would probably be the only way to get an offer rescinded

Yeah a few B’s isn’t going to ruin anything. A few D’s might not even affect you.

thank you guys, I heard from UIUC admission office, they support what you said! It would happen unless C,D,F show up

I mean, it “wouldn’t”
