Essays are very well written, and I have gone to info sessions twice this year at Georgetown.

Thoughts?

bump?..

What’d you take at college? A hardcore engineering student with a 3.5 is WAY WAY better than an easy class major with a 3.6

i have a 3.92 in college and i took:
Microeconomics,Business Technology,First Year Seminar,Chinese 1,Intro Philosophy, Leadership Process, Business Algebra. (semester 1)

Macroeconomics,Chinese 2,Management,Financial Accounting,History of West & World, Intro to International Relations, Business Law. (semester 2)

There is virtually no choice in what classes you can take. Unlike most universities you dont have an option of say “Take Two Philosophy courses”, you take the only one presented =/…

bump*?

I also thought about Cornell?

Well, it can’t hurt to try, but I think you should aim a bit lower because of your SAT scores and HS GPA, which look rather low for Georgetown. Go ahead and talk about your volunteer service, but it doesn’t add much to write on your various one-day events (unless one was especially inspiring).

um, the only “one-day event” was the reptile exposition but that took months of planning haha and scores are just one part i graduated in the top 20% of my class as well hardest curriculum of my class, i recognize SATs are low and ACTs are barely middle 50% but are a couple of numbers really going to kill the rest of my application? Cornell doesnt require SAT/ACT scores anyways

^ not true. some of the colleges do.
