I'm from Canada so on my transcript the grades will be out of 100. Do you think it would be better for me to convert them out of 4? Since a GPA 4.0 looks way better than a 90.</p>
<p>On most standardized scales a 90 average would be a 3.7. A 95 would be a 4.0.</p>
<p>You don’t have to do this unless the college specifically asks you to convert. Adcoms are pretty savvy. You official transcript will be what it is. In the US, kids don’t report a 3.8 as a 4.0 because it got an A and looks letter.</p>
<p>If 90 is your low end A, they’ll realize that, too.</p>
