about transfer (very important)

hi! I am an international student who currently study in michigan state university. I transfered from the university that is in my home town to michigan state university a year ago, and 34 credits have been transfered to michigan state. Now, after one year of study in michigan state, i get a 3.92 Gpa. I am considering whether it is wise for me to transfer again or not. I have a couple of concerns, and i really appreciate if you can give me some suggestion. I want to major in business, and the business college of michigan state rank #23 in the U.S. So, michigan state has a pretty good business college, and some programme like supply chain management, and accounting has a really high ranking in the us news and world report. Do you think it is wise for me to transfer again to some prestigious university like UC berkeley or UCLA? Some of my friends told me that my undergraduate degree doesn't matter unless i am able to transfer to IVY LEaGUE schools. Graduating from UCLA has no difference from graduating from michigan state university especially michigan state university has a couple of very good business programme. Second, i want to look for a job after graduation, and i currently major in logistics, and i am more interested in finance. Do you think i can get a better job easily by graduating from ucla or uc berkeley instead of michigan state? the third is that as an international student, english is not my first language, though i am a smart student.business curriculum in UC berkeley is much harder than the business curriculum in michigan state? Because competing with a lot of talent whose first language is english is a big challenge for me. Can you please give me some suggestion about the difference in course difficulty between michigan state and ucla or uc berkely? Do you think i can graduate from UC Berkely or UCLA with a good grade if i can gain admission to those universities. What can a prestigious university give me that an ordinary university can't? IS it woth for me to transfer again? Because the 34 credits that are transfer from the university in my home town might be wasted if i choose to transfer. i would really appreciate if you can give me your precious suggestion. I think transfering to a prestigious university should be an important issue in my whole life. I am looking forward to receiving your suggestions. Thank you very much.

While Berk has HAAS, UCLA doesn't have a Undergrad Business school.

Do you want to stay in Michigan and live there?

What do you want to do eventually? Are you looking to be hired by the big four for ibanking or something of the sort? What are you looking for from an Ivy/UC education that Michigan State can't give you?

i don't hope to get in to a very very large and famous corporation, and i just want to find a decent job that can offer me a good salary. I don't like to live in michigan, because the weather is cold in winter. i like california or new york, some big cities like that. I think that a pristigious university might be able to give me more chance to find a good paid decent job.Do you think so?Thank you

UCLA and UCB are extremely hard to get admitted to out of state as a freshman. I am not sure whether their selectivity is the same for transfers, but I suspect your chances are not good. Your English is weak, and you've already transferred once. You're well off where you are.

Michigan State is a good school, in fact my friend got a job at Microsoft. If you're transferring, make sure you don't lose anymore credits. Secondly, prestige doesn't buy much and yes you can still get into a top elite grad from a lesser college.
