I just have a quick question about whether UGA Honors is significantly harder than regular classes (not honors).
I know all about the benefits to doing Honors such as early class registrations and stuff, but I don't know anything about the difficulty of the classes yet.

Like for instance, how much would you need to study to receive an A in a chemistry class?

I would rather receive an A in a regular class than receive a B in an honors class where I had to study my butt off.

I wouldn't say that Honors classes are harder than non-Honors classes. The professors expect more from you, but they also offer more one-on-one interaction and tend to base things more on papers and projects rather than quizzes and tests. Honors classes are also heavily discussion-oriented and professors often incorporate that into a significant part of the grade. And while you might have to work harder in some honors classes than non-honors classes, most students will end up with As if they put the necessary time into their work, which they usually do.
