I have seen many posts on here where people claim to have GPA's above a 4.0. Are those always weighted? If not, how do people have un-weighted GPA's above 4.0?

Some schools calculate an A+ as a 4.3.

You do know a VAST (as in 95-99 percent of) majority of people that claim those high GPA’s are trolls right? this part of the forum, sadly, has many trolls. although @skieurope answer was also true as well.

Unweighed but can be in maximal scale other than 4.0. If it is giving 4.3 to A+, then it can be easily recalculated.

Some people’s GPA aren’t on a 4 point scale. Otherwise it is weighted (or the have an A+ or higher average like @skieurope said.
