I am a sophomore in High school and due to a foot surgery I missed 6 days of school. Will the absences themselves look bad to colleges? They are excused, obviously.
Thanks

I don't think colleges will see them, and even if they did, they probably won't care since its excused. For my school, the transcript doesn't indicate anywhere about the number of absences or whatever.

I think they'll understand, you had a good reason to be absent, and even 6 days or so absent in your hs career is okay

No one will ever notice them. Are you kidding???

Check with your school to find out what info is on the transcript and what is sent to colleges. Our high school does not include any attendance info.

I missed over 50 days of school last year(jr. year... Didn't feel like going.) I still have the top gpa in the class and all... And the absences aren't on transcript... So... I think I'm going to get away with it. L-to-the-O-L.

Six absences shouldn't kill ya.
