was the absolute value question- write any value that satisfies:
6 < absval(x-3) < 7, x > 0???

No it was x<0, not greater than. It was asking for the absolute value of x that satisfies that euation when x is negative. The answer had to be between 3 and 4.

are you sure flipsta? my friend and I remember it saying x > 0.. we both put 9.5

in that case- raw score of 52/54 any chance that still gets me a 780?

i put 9.5 as well

i had 51/54 on the last test and got a 720..

i had 53/54 on march and got 790

It was x<0
I'm 10000000000000000000% sure of it.

And, I got 3.5 as the answer.

Yep, I agree wih Eddieee. I had put 9.5, but I caught my error at the last second and changed it to 3.5.

you guys mean negative 3.5 right? oh nevermind, they asked for |x|.

The value was -3.5, but if you read closely, they tell you they want the absolute value of -3.5.

If there were negative signs in the fill-in, I would've put -3.5, BUT THANK GOD THEY WERE NOT THERE. Or else, I wouldn't have gone back to have seen those "| |"s lol

wow thats weird i dont remember that at all, i really thought it said x > 0, wow im dumb i hope theres a really good curve- such as -2 = 790
