Absolutely American

Just wondering how many people have read or are reading "Absolutely American, four years at West Point". I am in the process of reading it and find it interesting. I suggest those who havent read it pick up a copy.

A quote from the book "of all the young people I'd met, the West Point cadets - although they are grand, epic complainers - were the happiest"

Great book. My sister bought that for me my freshman year in high school.

I have read that book numerous times.... very intresting and very enjoable read :)

I was somewhat suprised that George Rash decided to take the cow commitment, despite his disposition. That'd be a lump of cash to pay back if he was found guilty by the honor board.

I found "Duty First" to be much better--a fantastic description of Beast can be found in it.

I also preferred Duty First, but both are good reads for prospective candidates

I'll look for that one, I'd never heard of it before now.
