Absolutely at my wits end, need advice ASAP

Hello, my current college situation is depressing and weighs down my entire life. Ill be straight and blunt. I started college in NYC two weeks after graduating high school and was not prepared at all. Long story short, i couldn't afford the college at all (Berkeley nyc private) and transferred out with a 2.5 GPA. I transferred to a City University of New York (CUNY) school called College of Staten Island (CSI), but grew more and more frustrated with my Marketing major and less motivation to continue each day. I ended up running out of financial aid and 3 F grades landed me a 1.95 GPA. I also had to come to terms with the fact that the school was to far from my house and i was paying too much on toll and gas, to drive there. I am very creative and love to draw but was always fearful of being unable to make a living off of drawing, which is why i went with business admin. I am currently working a 10$/hour job, saving but not even sure where to go from here. I'v earned 100 credits at this school and 130+ in total, but no idea what to do next. Should i apply to another college in my area (doubtful i would be able to transfer in anywhere at this point), start over from fresh, or head into the creative market with a portfolio and hope for the best. At this point in not sure it would be worth it to invest the money and time for an art degree, however my decisions in the past have not served me well and would greatly appreciate new insight and advice.

Thank you for you're time.

Check out Adelphi’s adult ed program- they might help you craft a major to earn a degree. Follow your passion, try to work in the art field, take night or online classes to finish a degree.

It sounds like you have had a rough time. You are in good company. Many people know exactly what they want when they apply to college but as many others don’t. The fact that you are asking such important questions but posting them on cc suggests that you could really use some more solid advice from someone whose expertise you can trust. That is not true of people on CC. You should talk with an expert who can review your entire academic history, discuss your strengths and weaknesses and consider your goals along with financial realities. Since you have credits from CUNY you can probably access their career counseling. That is your best bet. They will help you sort out your various issues: goals, finances, logistics. You should get some solid advice before doing anything else. Good luck. I hope you follow through on my advice.
