Absolutely Clueless about my major.

I got accepted into a great school and entered with every intent in succeeding in computer engineering. I couldn't keep up with the mathmatics and did awful. This semester I am currently taking computer science, I thought it would be less of a load then the previous semester. Unfortunately I am in the same position as I was in last semester, without hope and getting increasingly frustrated. There are too many gaps in my high school mathmatetics to persue an engineering degree which really frustrates me. What my question now is what do I want to do? I honestly have no interest in anything besides science. I'm just gonna simply ask what majors I can do without so much of a math load. I could manage a math class or two. I actually love calculas, but between my physics and programming I'm swamped and I can't keep focus. What do you guys think about biology, or if anyone has any major suggestions that would be great. I know realistically I have to take 5 years of college because honestly I wasted a whole year.

Thanks guys

I am sure people who are more well versed in the science fields will chime in with some good suggestions, but my bf is doing clinical laboratory science and that’s mostly just biology and chemistry courses. Not super high paying but I would guess that’s how a lot of fields are once you take away the math. Just throwing that out there since that’s the one I am aware of.

What gaps in your high school math classes are you referring to?

If by gaps you mean you’re not so good in trig/algebra you could easily take care of that over the summer. A little self study with a text book and khan academy would do it. If “holes in high school math” is a disguised version of “not willing to put in the time” as an excuse why you can’t do engineering then that’s a different issue.
