Absolutely lost, advices?!

Hello,
So, I currently go to community college (going into my junior year) and I applied to 2-3 universities this year but did not get accepted and still waiting on some (but got rejected to USC which is where I wanted to go). So, I don’t even know if I should continue to stay in community college because I took most of the classes already for my major and even if I were to transfer next year, there’s a lot of schools that don’t take senior transfers? For example, I wanted to maybe apply to UCLA for next year but upon checking their website, they don’t take senior transfers. Same with USC… I was going to maybe reapply but they only take sophomore + junior transfers. So, with that, I was thinking if I could apply to some school for spring 2021 but is there a list to check which colleges accept that because I know most don’t? I’m beating myself up a lot for not trying harder and losing this opportunity to transfer. For those questioning why I applied to so little schools, it’s because I didn’t really want to go to other universities. I had very few in mind and even with my major, it took me a long time to figure out what I found interest in. I genuinely don’t know what to do at this point and dropping out is obviously not an option. I’m just stuck as to where I want to go and I’m just so picky with the schools that I want to go to as well, so it’s just hard finding any option. I really didn’t see myself staying in community college for more than 2 years, but it seems like I’m at that very spot now…

I chose to major in global studies or international studies, but I’m thinking of switching because I took an international relations class last semester and it was not what I expected. Talks a lot about history, global issues, politics, and economics but I was aiming more towards learning about humanity and the world+culture. I just feel like I’m all over the place and I don’t have a good plan… Any suggestion or resources would help, thank you! I need to come up with a plan asap because the CC registration has already started, so if I am going to be taking more classes here and whatever the plan is down the line, I need to start registering for classes.

You say you are at a CC, but you also say that you are headed into your junior year. Do you mean junior year because your CC offers at least some bachelor degrees, or do you mean a third year at that CC? Those are two different things.

If you want to transfer, and you have the grades to make it likely that you can be admitted somewhere, then stop taking classes. Get a job and work on your transfer application list. Consult with the transfer advisor at your CC, and get better advice about where to apply. It looks like your list this year wasn’t a good one.

I think that we need more information.

How many classes have you completed?

What is your college GPA? What was your unweighted high school GPA?

What is your budget?

What is your home state?

If all your classes have been taken at a CC and are lower division, the UC’s cap 70 semester/105 quarter units from your CC. You are still a Junior level transfer if all your courses are lower division, CC classes. If you have taken any upper division courses at a 4 year university, then these would be added to the 70 unit cap which could make you a High Unit Junior or Senior transfer which could eliminate your chances at several UC’s.

UCLA will be comparable in competitiveness than USC, so if you post your stats, state residency, budget, intended major etc… then CC posters can help give more advice.
