Has anyone ever received their room assignment, and THEN provided medical reasons for getting AC installed in that room? basically, can you get ac installed in your room?

Yes, people did that my freshman year.

Yes, for the past 2 years this has been the case with me. You just need a prescription/some proof from your doctor and you're all set.

What kind of proof do you need? Like that you have allergies if it's too humid? Or skin irritation, etc.?

Yeah, pretty much. My roommate originally just sent a note signed by her doctor saying she needed AC because she "had allergies" and her request was denied, but when she had a prescription with more detailed reasons (she gets migraines and things like that, so hot air/humidity wouldnt help the cause) it was approved.
