Academic acceptances & merit scholarships?

I got my academic acceptance on Monday! (I also auditioned for musical theater so I have to wait for that decision in march..) I got $17000/year for the honors scholarship & an additional $2500/year for the opportunity scholarship!!

Anyone else care to share what they received?

Got the dean’s scholarship totaling $19,000/ year. I really want to get in the honors program though.

I didn’t realize that honors scholarship went up to 17K? My daughter is only getting 15k for it.

Oops I apologize I meant to say $15,000 for honors!

Harper93: congrats! That is awesome!

Thank you, congrats as well.

The other day I got my financial letter & was given another $2500 in grants which I technically didn’t quality for according to the FAFSA!

geofio - I’m having the same problem! I got my financial aid package from Pace yesterday and they’re offering me $54,000 est. through loans and work study, but doesn’t Pace direct and indirect costs only match up towards about $51,000? And, I wasn’t expecting this much (from ANY college, really) because my parents make too much money. It sounds a little too good to be true.

And if it is, it’s going to be really hard to not consider this offer if I DON’T get accepted to their MT program, which I’m pretty sure I didn’t.

Jenniferdances: That is a fantastic offer! I know, with all this money I’m considering going but as you said, I don’t think I got into their MT program either so I’m still iffy. I’m praying that I’m waitlisted for either MT or Acting or at least got into their BA Theater Arts - Acting concentration because they can reaudition for the BFA programs every semester. Hopefully we both hear some good news soon!

& I also thought is was 51K but I think they may have increased some costs somewhere this year making the financial letter increase the total to 54K. At least my letter says the total is a little over 54K
