Academic Achievers?

So today I got and email that said:
"THE COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY would like to invite you to join us for a
SUMMER RECEPTION honoring ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS.

In recognition of your academic achievements in high school, we hope that you
are able to join us for an opportunity to meet with faculty, take a campus tour,
and learn about The College of New Jersey from a student's perspective. "

I was curious to see if anyone had gotten something similar to this. IF so, any idea if this is something that they sent to a vast majority of people, or just some? I really want to go to TCNJ, but am very worried that I might not be good enough... Is this letter telling me not to worry?

I got the same thing a few weeks ago. I think it goes out to a vast majority of people. My stats are also a tad low for TCNJ, but I really want to go there, so I immediately signed up for the 8th. I visited campus once, and loved it. One more time can only help. Attending open houses and receptions like this one only shows more interest in the school. Hope that helps. Good luck!
