Hey guys :)

Just wondering, does anybody on this forum know whether homeschooled applicants to texas a&m are auto ranked top quarter? Heard a few people say that, but no idea if it's true! Or are they automatically classified as review admits?

Thanks :>

Just a guess, it probably depends on your SAT score since you don’t have a class rank.

Yes, homeschooled applicants are considered in the top 25% at Texas A&M for admission purposes. So unless, the policy has changed, if you are homeschooled and have a SAT score of 1300 or above CR/M you are an automatic admit if you have the required course work, which in my son’s case included 2 years of foreign language even though their info said it was only preferred.

Alright, thanks to both of you! I was checking because they don’t have a homeschool admissions page then I dug into the FAQ, apparently they do classify homeschoolers as top quarter. Thanks again :D
