Hey everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone has received any information regarding who their academic advisor is? I was looking online and I understand some departments have advisors…but is that the same thing? I would like to talk to my advisor to ask a question about a summer class that I would like to take. Anyways let me know whats going on with you or your children? Thanks!

I am not sure when, but American University’s academic advisers contact their students during the summer. Like you said, some departments/programs may have their own academic advisers and some may not, while some academic advisers advise on an entire school.

What major are you or your son/daughter? And what is the first letter of your last name? I can do my best to find your academic adviser. I found various pages listing academic advisers and was about to start posting them in a list but it would literally take hours lol.

Oh wow great! I’m a political science major and my last name starts with an F. Thanks!

Hi rimthegreen. Sorry for the late response!
