Academic and student life for international CS student at UofT SG Victoria College

Hi,
I was recently accepted to the CS program at St George Victoria college. I am from the U.S.
Can anyone comment on what it is like to be a student there? What are class sizes like.
How accepting are other students and faculty? What is the culture like, do people raise their hands and ask questions?
Is it easy to get the classes you want or are they over subscribed and have a wait list? How is the experience at Victoria college?

Would it be worth it to go to UofT for 10k more than Northeastern or UMD?
Thanks in advance!

The first thing you should realize is that you haven’t been accepted into the CS major. To get accepted into the CS major, you have to get a certain average in two of your first year courses. This website explains it https://cssu.ca/firstyearcs/#admission-to-a-program

Class sizes can range from 20-500. Larger classes are for the most introductory courses. There can be waitlists. Toronto and U of T are very accepting environments.

You might want to explore the U of T subreddit.
