Is it possible to get into an ivy league school if the only academic award I have is national merit scholar?

It is possible, yes. Unlikely, perhaps. There are many factor at play. There are also many great schools outside of the Ivy League.

Yes. Yes. Yes. It’s possible! You have as good enough of chance as anyone. Those awards are only one part of your application and weigh far less than ECs and essays.
If you only have NMS (which is very prestigious), you won’t be hurting yourself.

of course! I didn’t have a single academic award and got into dmouth and upenn (other than nation merit COMMENDED)
