<p>If your friend is looking at secondary schools, find a consultant who specializes in secondary schools and not colleges. If your friend does not need a therapeutic school, then don’t go to a consultant who specializes in therapeutic schools.</p>
<p>You can find a consultant through the Indep. Educational Consultant’s Association, which has strict application and membership requirements, which ensures you can find a qualified consultant.</p>
<p>There are some consultants who do both therapeutics and traditional boarding schools, and others who specialize in one or the other.
