<p>Anyone on here do the Academic Decathalon? Is this in anyway impressive if you do well?</p>
<p>I know quite a few people in my school who did, and made it to state. Frankly, I was more impressed that they got through their gigantic reading packet...</p>

<p>I was going to do AD this past year, but debate and personal issues prevented me from competing. At the fist practice I went to where they gave us our study binder it was intimidating.</p>
<p>Haha I was wondering when someone was going to make a thread like this. Yeah I do Decath. but unfortunately a lot of my team is lazy so we never make it to state. I'm busting my @ss off this year though... I've just finished reading through History of Mexico!!</p>

<p>Haha yeah what state are you competing from? My team has no chance (California) because we have to go up against the crazy L.A. kids whose schools are like right next to the DemiDec company. Lol but our new coach is such a nazi about us doing well.</p>
