academic dishonesty issue?

hello,
so i’ve applied for university of Toronto and i did not mentioned them that i attended to one of the post secondary institution but i did send them my transcripts of that post secondary institution. later they revoked my application and did not give me an admission, and a few days later they sent me a mail which stated “on your application you did not mention attending any post secondary institution even though you were asked to…,and that this information may be shared with colleges and universities across canada.”. after reading this i got destroyed and didnt know what to do so i came here to ask your opinion on how does this impact my admission in any university/college in the future?. i highly regret it and want to set myself as an example for everyone.

If you’ve attended a post secondary institution, then you would be a transfer student. You can’t apply for regular admission. Each university has a separate admissions process for transfer students. I doubt that your ability to apply as a transfer will be negatively affected.

hey man thanks for the quick reply. i wanted to apply as a fresh student rather than a transfer student so i didnt not include my transcripts, but then again i sent them my transcripts just to be safe. i didn’t know that i cant apply as a freshman again at different university. so far im kind of worried that im not going to get admission anytime soon :frowning: is it something major or its not that big of a deal?

@ixcaliber You won’t get admission as a freshman. If you want admission, you’ll have to apply as a transfer student.
