What schools accept previous academically dismissed students.
Not sure, but consider ASU (Arizona State University) as well as your local community college.

An open admission community college will allow enrollment, which can allow the academically dismissed student to try to bring GPA up to 2.0 or higher. That may then allow the student to transfer to a four year school (probably a minimally selective one if GPA is 2.0 or only slightly above).

Transfer Students | ASU Online says that transfer students need at least a 2.50 college GPA (and those with fewer than 24 transferable credits also need to meet high school student requirements). So an academically dismissed student with a GPA under 2.0 will need to do GPA repair at a community college before trying to transfer to Arizona State University.
