<p>Does anyone know of anyone that has received one of the four academic excellence scholarships listed on the UTD website? </p>

<p>UT</a> Dallas Incoming Freshman Scholarships</p>

<p>There are four that they list but there is no info on what you need to be in each level. I just wanted to see if anyone has received one of them and what stats you had.</p>

<p>The four that I'm looking at are Academic Recognition Scholarship, Academic Higher Recognition Scholarship, Academic Distinction Scholarship, and Academic Honors Scholarship.</p>

<p>The stats of the person interesting in UTD:
-SAT: CR:800, M:690, W:690
-Rank 1 of 380ish (tied with a few others but no tie breakers)
-good EC (including captain of HS drill team)</p>

<p>S/he will get Academic Honors Scholarship, I believe, but s/he should apply early.</p>

<p>does timing matter? i sent mine in late as a cap student and only got distinction.
but i really thought i had a chance at honors, since my application got me into berkeley.</p>

got into berkeley but got capped at UT?</p>
