Does anyone know the policy of Academic Forgiveness/Course Alleviation?
I am looking to "forgive" some of my past grades because it doesn't reflect the student I am today (AT ALL!!), however the grades I am looking to "forgive" were at a school I went to in California but I now live in Colorado and the school in California requires you take 15 semester credits and get a 3.0 (which I have accomplished). Do these 15 credits have to be taken at the same particular school (the school in California) or does it matter? I appreciate your help. Thank you. :)

Normally you need to repeat the courses at the original college/university. Contact your original school and ask about it.

Lots of us have ugly old transcripts, but the newer better ones are the ones that count. If you can’t return to your original college/university to re-take coursework, enrolling at a community college close to where you now live and doing well in a new set of courses is likely to compensate for the old bad grades when it comes time to apply for transfer to your final college/university.
