I was caught cheating in college. I know it was too bad…

I saw the below sentence on Academic Honesty policy.

Records of the incident will be placed on file in the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs

—I dont understand…this sentence… you think is this record (violation of academic honesty policy) can see on my transcripts? and affected transfer to other university ?
what does it mean wil be placed on file in the office of the vice president for academic affairs?

please let me know…i

It may not be seen on a transcript (I would take a look at your unofficial), but if the college were to inquire with your current college, they might tell them about it. Did you automatically fail the class?

i got zero on final exam… but final exam is 30%… so finally I got F (it is not automatically fail)
