Hey guys, I would really like to get into McCombs next year (I am currently a rising senior), and I had a quick question about the AI scoring.
So, here are my scores.
ACT - M: 35, W: 32.
SAT - M: 800, R: 710, W: 630.
I used the two formulas for Business (ACT/SAT) and included my high school rank (100-HSR) and got a 3.942 for the ACT formula, but a 3.28 for the SAT formula.
How could there be such a big difference? I was sure my SAT score would look MUCH better than my ACT score.
You say your ACT Writing is 32. Is that your ACT English/Writing composite? If you calculated the formulas you should see that UT uses your SAT/ACT math score and the writing for SAT and E/W composite for ACT. If 32 is the E/W composite then it is much higher than your SAT Writing.
@K20903 I thought that the McCombs School of Business primarily cared about the SAT Math and Reading, however. Thus, I weighed the 1510 a much higher score than a mere 35 and 32 in the math and english/writing of the ACT.
