I'm 3 out of 9 at 195. Sick.

Have a 7 at 224. Somehow I feel that my chances aren't as good as whats predicted by the AI.

im a 4 at 210 (11% acceptance) wah!

well i'm now depressed. 3 out of 9 at 194. cries

lmao im a 3 out of 9 at 200. f that. im not used to being at the bottom of the barrel. i thought 1 was the best lol. hooray for quadruple legacy.

Did it for my friend who was admitted at UPenn and she would've been a 2 out of 9.

lol what a POS. this thing sucks. i typed in perfect scores across the board, except for class rank being in 10 - 20 percent (highest GPA though) and it was still only an 8/9.

A class rank of 10-20 % is not impressive at all unless you go to a magnet or highly competitive private school.

its not awful with a GPA of 4.5 ^ look above

what's a magnet?

if u enter in class rank, then they don't factor in gpa on the AI calculator. Only if u select gpa, will they factor it in.

oh so im a 6 with GPA and 3 with class rank ***

is the class rank weighted or not? I hate my school

yeahhh holler for a 7!!

Don't pay any attention to the academic index calculator. College admissions are a completely holistic process and it's impossible to quantify variables like URM status, socio-economic stratification, geographic location, extra curricular activities, and athletic ability just to name a few. For example an Asian student living in Orange County with an SAT score of 1550 and ranked 2/368 won't be accepted over a Hispanic student who plays basketball and soccer, lives in a poor, single parent household in California with 5 other brothers and sisters and has an SAT of 1350+. It wouldn’t matter that the Asian students has an AIC of 224 or that the Hispanic student has an AIC of 182. At the most selective schools admissions officers look for things more than numbers.

It does state that this is not the only thing used for admission decision. EC's are an important factor, and personality, people skills and such. This is only part of it. I'm gonna go see what I get.

yeah using gpa I go from 3/9 at 194 to 5/9 at 212
