<p>yeah, and i got deferred. so that shows that the academic index thing isn't the deciding factor at all; eating food probably had some really good ECs, rec letters, and essays (which are probably more important than straight up test scores any day)</p>
<p>Exactly, People here overestimate stats importance, good luck though Peytoncline. I would be humbled if I got deferred by a school like Yale (I didnt apply there).Good Luck</p>
<p>Ok I know, I am not saying this will give me a good idea of my chances for admissions. I just want to compare my stats (1 aspect of admissions) to that of other applicants. Good luck everyone; hopefully we get a good number of acceptances from CC</p>
<p>lolz, TheWerg, you had solid ECs and stuff, too, and I can't imagine you writing bad essays. Everyone knows you must've gotten a cranky, old admissions officer that felt like spiting all Asian applicants some morning, because your app was beastly. :)</p>
<p>Oh yeah, that's right! That's why I was even MORE amazed. URM + Stats + ECs= flat-out rejected when 50% got deferred. lol. Someone was out to get you ;)</p>
