Academic Indexes! Juniors and Seniors all come here

whered you find that info on Dartmouth? can you find that for other colleges?

I think the AI is pointless though.

Isn't it indices, not indexes? Hm...

Actually, I believe it's indeksi.

there are two ways of spelling it (indexes is more popular i think :P) kind of like grey and gray

Kind of like all right and alright. I still prefer the latter.

CleverUserName:
To convert your ACT score to an SAT score, use ONE of these formulae:

63A + 132 = S
A = ACT composite score, S = New SAT score
Divide that result by 3, and put them in the SAT fields.

For an old SAT score, use this formula:
42A + 88 = s
A = ACT Composite, s is Old SAT score
Divide by 2, and put in SAT fields.

219...6/9

720m
700v
2/113
800,750,750

goes up to 226, 8/9 when I use GPA.
hmmm

224 7/9 with top 10%
234 9/9 weighted GPA
770 V
800 M
800 M 2C, 790 USH, 790 PH

Wait, so if my ACT composite was 31, it would be like this - 63*31 + 132 = 2085/3 = 695? Maybe the division part isn't necessary?

Actually, since the minimum score on the SAT is 400, you should actually use S = 400 + 55A. Divide by 2 since the AI calculator asks for math and verbal scores separately.

227

need to get the verbal and writing SAT scores up. 640 verbal + 710 writing = blah. Hopefully after the summer I'll be good.

222 7/9?

I don't get it..all my SAT scores are 750+ and I'm top decile...

Your Academic Index: 209
AI Rank*: 4 out of 9
based on the following data:

SAT I Verbal: 653 SAT I Math: 653

SAT II No. 1: 700 SAT II No. 2: 650 SAT II No. 3: 650

Rank is 1 in a class of 217

I used my ACT score and converted it to old SAT. That's why the numbers are funny and I guessed on what I would get on the SAT II.

ohh :)

238
9/9

(ok im a freshman so i just put in muh rank and projected the rest) and i got a 5. then i just put in my rank and put 800 on everything else to see the best i could get and it was an 8. this sucks. well actualy i dont know my rank either haha im guessing its around 15/360. it seems a bit silly now but i feel kind of defeated. haha

230
