Academic Internship Program (AIP)

Hi. I'm currently a 2nd year, and I was wondering if you would recommend AIP for this upcoming Spring Quarter. Not only am I questioning whether it is too early for me to take it, I am also hesitant because I have an on-campus job right now that I wouldn't want AIP to conflict with. Anyway, for those who went through AIP, would you recommend it?

help bump, i’d like some more info on this too.

How important is your current job? Unless you have a pressing demand to pay the bills, then pursue the more relevant option.

I haven’t heard that many good things about AIP. But it depends on what you get I suppose.

It’s never too early to start looking for internships though.

I thought AIP was a 2 quarter deal? I would do it when you have more time, probably, but that’s just me  Ask the the program adviser or the professor you want to work with (since you need to find who to work with and what you want to do on your own) what they think is best.
