I’m a transfer student that just entered UCSD this last fall 2011 quarter. After my first quarter I received a UC GPA of 1.35, I still struggled this past Winter 2012 quarter but raised it somewhat to 1.83. I wanted to know if I will now be academically disqualified for this upcoming Spring 2012 quarter? I’ve read the AS guidelines for probation/disqualification but I’m unclear as to when disqualification takes place. I’m not sure if it’s after 3 consecutive quarters of a GPA under 2.0 or just 2. I’ve talked to a few other students about it, some said 2 some 3. I also emailed my college academic adviser, but today is a holiday (cesar chavez day) and probably won’t hear back til Monday when classes start. Any input would be nice.
