<p>I did really really bad my first semester at a university. I had already planned on leaving when I stopped going to class. I am now at a CC and planning on applying to transfer soon. One question that comes up often is about academic probation. I received a letter notifying me I was on academic probation several weeks after I had officially withdrawn from the school. I am not sure if this counts or not. Do I have to state that I was on probation?</p>
<p>I am in no way an expert, but, unless the app asks, I doubt it. The universities you apply to will know you are on academic probation from that one school though probably, so that might affect your apps.</p>
