Does JHU have class rank, i.e valedictorian, salutatorian, etc.

How does the JHU grading compare to other top schools?

Thanks-

I sounded very silly in that last post, sorry.

By grading, I mean inflation/deflation relative to other top schools.

average gpa at JHU is around a 3.2-3.3. Most of the large lecture classes here are graded based on a bell curve that is varied between every professor. Normally, the median student receives a B- (3.3). 1/2 standard deviation above is a B/B+, 1 st dev above is an A-/A. It varies amongst all the professors. Other top schools also have gpa’s around a 3.2-3.3 so to answer your question, no, JHU is not inflated/deflated relative to other top schools.
