Academic Renewal processing, unable to meet GPA for TAG?

Hey all,

I am highly interested in submitting a TAG for UC Davis, but I have a 3.18 GPA, since i received a D on a math class a year ago (Fall 2015).

However, I recently submitted an Academic Renewal form at my community college, and the admissions officer said that my request for academic renewal will not be processed until January of 2017. Also, I am retaking that same math class this semester.

My question is that in the “Tag Admission Planner”, should I put an AR or the original grade of D?

Can you meet with a UC Davis counselor ASAP? Or even email one? They are very nice and helpful from my experience and I doubt they’ll hold this against you if you have a good reasom

Good idea, I just sent an email to a UC Davis adviser. Hopefully I can get an answer this week.
