<p>Hi, I'm just wonder how important academic summer programs (i.e., JHU CTY, Duke TIP, etc. Not the really prestigious invitation-only ones, but ones that you still have to test into.) are. I've been going to CTY for 3 years now, and plan to for two more. I really enjoy it and learn a lot, and I'm wondering if it's also good for college applications and stuff.</p>
