Academic Suspension Appeal Letter

I have been placed on academic suspension therefore I need to write a letter to be taken off of it. Please rate my letter and tell me if it is good or bad.

Dear Mr.X, my name is Victoria 3546 and as you know I have been placed on academic suspension. I was very dismayed to see that I had been placed on academic suspension. I had been led to believe that I was doing reasonably well in all of my classes, however my 1.50 GPA reflects otherwise. I took microbiology and Spanish together in one summer semester, which was not a very good idea. I lived over an hour away at the time and the classes where from 8 am to 3 pm with only ten minutes between them. I was also helping my mother take care of my siblings so I had little time to study. As my transcript shows I made an F in microbiology and a d in Spanish.
After the trouble I had with the classes I decided to not take more than 1 class in the summer semester. I have also changed my major from nursing to a bachelors degree of arts in biology. I also vow to devote more time toward studying so I will keep the minimum GPA required if not a higher GPA. Case and point my grade in general psychology I devoted all my time to studying for this class and my anatomy and physiology class.
My professor in my anatomy and physiology class is another reason why my GPA is as low as it is. I went to his office and studied with him before every test, lab tests included and wrote on the test what he said would be required for me to get a passing grade. However I only got half credit on all of the questions. So I will repeat this class however I will repeat it with another professor, and I will also take it as a single class, so I can devote all of my time to nothing but studying for it.
Thank you for your time.
