I was academically disqualified from UCSD in 2012 because I did not satisfy the Subject A requirement. I also had a 3.5 gpa while I was still attending UCSD. I then attended my local community college for two years, and I have a 4.0 gpa. I am applying to four Cal States, and I am just worried that I won't be accepted because of my disqualification from UCSD. Has anyone experienced this situation before? Please help!

Did you appeal their decision ? They should have an appeal process.

I was going to appeal to UCSD’s decision, but my counselor told me that my case had a slim chance. She suggested that I should just attend community college, and if I wanted to come back to UCSD, I would have to take the redemption exam to be readmitted.
