Academically

Does anyone know what the requirements are to get into BW as far as the GPA, SAT, and other academic scores go. I’ve tried to look it up on their site, but am having trouble finding any admission requirements. I want to audition next year for BW but don’t think it would be wise to spend time applying if my grades aren’t to their standards.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

here is a link:
Baldwin-Wallace :: First Year Undergraduate Admission

Also, here is a quote from that page:
"While no minimum grade point average, class rank or standardized test score is specified, these measures must provide evidence of your readiness for future success at Baldwin-Wallace College. Balanced consideration is given to all aspects of your college preparation. The freshman class profile provides rank and test score ranges for the most recent admitted class."

Here is a link to the admitted class of 2011:
Baldwin-Wallace :: Class of 2011

For starters, Baldwin-Wallace has an overall acceptance rate of 80% to the university itself which is not that selective and you have to keep admit rate in mind, and not just the stats of admitted students. The average GPA of admitted students is 3.6. Baldwin-Wallace is now changing to be an SAT optional school. The mid 50% range of SAT scores for admitted students at B-W is: CR 480-600, M 480-600, Combined CR/M: 960-1200. However, 84% of first year students submit ACT scores and the mid 50% ACT range of accepted students is: English 20-26, Math 20-26, Composite 21-26. 24% of admitted students were in the top 10% of their HS class, 55% were in the top 25% and 85% were in the top half. You are required to have 4 units of English, 3 of Math, 3 of Science (2 as a Lab), 1 of Foreign Language, 3 of Social Studies and 1 of History. Only 12% come from out of state. Admissions is Rolling. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I cross posted with TXKatsmom and took my data from what B-W submitted to US News and World Report and there is a slight variation apparently with what is listed on their site for class of 2011.
