Academics

I visited AU about a month ago, it was the last day of finals so i didn’t get to see campus “in action” so to speak…
I went into the business school (where i’m planning on transfering), and it seemed really small and quiet.

I was just wondering… how do most students go about their routine? is the grass usually empty or full (the quad)?

thanks- just looking for insight

timing is everything, and the last day of finals means a lot of kids were already long gone. in good weather, the quad is full and active. go back when you can see it in full swing!

Last semester, the last day for finals was Dec. 15, and for the most part, the only classes that still had finals were foreign language classes and blocks (classes most students don’t take), so I’m sure the campus was pretty dead as everyone had already left for break. Plus, by the end of finals, everyone is already exhaused enough, so you’re not going to see as many people out and about just enjoying the campus.

I’m not in Kogod, so I can’t really comment, but the campus is definitely, definitely, defintely active. Its tough to find time to come and see the campus, but finals week isn’t a good representation of what life is like at AU.
