Academies and SAT scores

Just wondering, how do the academies look at SAT scores. Take me, for example:

DEC: 1290 (700 M, 590 V)

MAR: 1290 (690 M, 600 CR)

JUN: 1420 (750 M, 670 CR)

When reviewing my file, will they simply see me as a kid who got a 1420, or as someone who had gotten 1290 twice before getting the 1420?

Thanks for any input.

They will see all your scores and the dates you took your tests. They will use the highest score , no matter whether it was the first time you took the test or the last.

1290-1420 is a pretty big jump. Congrats

Unlike Ivy league schools who want to see you ACE the SAT on the first or second try (to show that you don't HAVE to try to make that score) the service academies, in my opinion, don't mind seeing someone who worked hard to get the grades or the scores. In fact, they need hard workers. I think your SAT scores progressively getting better will help you.

Great SAT / ACT scores don't ensure admission either! There are many with lower scores that gain admission. They are looking for well rounded individuals. best of Luck!
