Hello all. Like some others on the board I recently received my nomination from my senator, and I have an LOA. Would anyone happen to know how long before West Point is notified of the nomination? I have yet to see any changes on my candidate profile on the internet. I was just wondering because even though I know I'm in, I still want to have the official packet or whatever USMA sends.

A big congratulations to you, tstein13.

We've seen the actual appointment packages going out anywhere between 2-4 weeks. When all the information arrives into Admissions around the holidays, it seems to extend the time a bit. Remain patient and let us know when it's all "official".

start running

Hey congrats. I'm in the exact same position as you are. I have been told by my senator I have a nom and that im in. I'm just waiting for the official acceptance...which kinda stinks cause I know I'm in but technically im not. Anyway, are you going to accept your offer? If so, I look forward to seeing you in june.

Oh I will most definitely accept. I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever.

Last year my daughter received appointments from both West Point and Annapolis within a week of hearing from our senator and representative that she had nominations, (about 10 days after her interviews.) This was during mid December, if knowing the time frame helps.
