When do students start finding out about acceptance to the academy?

Each academy releases appointments a bit differently, so check the website for each academy you’re interested in. However, appointments have been rolling out for several months now and can continue to do so right up until report day. Our son went to a rowing camp at Navy several years ago that began on I-Day and sat next to a very nervous kid on his flight who had received his appointment just three days prior due to yield. The kid had to scramble, but graduated last year. He and our son kept in touch all the way through even though they were at rival academies.
