<p>I heard that the ACC Rio Grande campus was very close the UT Austin. Does anyone have experience out there commuting to and from ACC to Austin while taking classes at both campuses? How is it? Is the commute easy? According to google maps, my apartment is only 1.4 miles away from the rio grande campus.</p>
<p>My son commuted 5 miles to an ACC campus - mostly on his bike. Parking is a problem and costs something, so taking the bus (there are several that stop nearby), riding your bike or walking is the recommended method of commuting.</p>
<p>Biking is great if you live downtown because the traffic sucks.</p>
<p>Also, the buses run constantly (almost every 5-10 minutes) and they are free with your UT ID.</p>
