University of Cincinnati has a combined BS/MD program where you are automatically admitted to their MD program without taking the MCATs. I think you need a colllege GPA of only 3.3 once you are in the program.

It is a real gem because it is easier to get into than many other BS/MD programs. You do need a strong GPA ( at least 3.75+) in high school and at least 1400 on the SAT (math and verbal), and very good extra curricular stuff and write a good essay. However, it is a lot easier to get into this program that many of other BS/MD programs listed above. Also, Cincinnati has a very decent medical school.

Lehigh has combined 7 year medical and dental programs.

Med program is in conjunction with Hahnemann (Drexel), dental is with U of Penn. There are gpa requirements among other things.

ahh, thanks taxguy and 2331clk!!

so basically some schools require a certain GPA in order 2 get into their 7 yr programs, right?

LuckMC11, most schools require a certain GPA to both get into the duel programs and to stay in the program. However, usually the required GPA to stay in is less than if they apply to the medical school directly.
