<p>Is a 6-7 year course for medicine worth taking in the US? What are the best schools for it?</p>

<p>Also, how long does it take in the US to get a medical degree if I am not on an accelerated course? Are all 7-year-programmes created to be taken in place of an undergrad (as in, right after high school?)</p>

<p>What does it typically take to get into these schools (must take the MCAT/specific score on SAT, etc.)</p>

<p>The only ones I think are really worth it are USC, UC San Diego, Caltech, Northwestern, and Brown. umm MCAT’s are important… ACT’s are around avg of 33 for most of the programs</p>
