So I want to do nursing and I want to go to UCI. I was accepted to UCI for my alternate major (psychology) and I was thinking I could go there and try and apply to the nursing program again second year but if that doesn’t work I would finish out my psych degree and then do an accelerated program. this way I could have more options and whatnot. I wanted to know if anyone knows about these. Is it seen as less reputable? would I be less likely to get a job as a nurse if I did it this way? Also how long does it take and how hard is it to get into one of these programs? Stats?
Any questions comments or info is appreciated greatly! my other option is to go to Dominican where I was admitted to nursing but I want more of a big college and the college experience I feel I would get at UCI
Does anyone know anything about accelerated nursing programs for after you have a 4 year degree??
